| Mike Scan, the 24-hour Ultrasonography Division at Fernandez Hospital, handles an average of 65 scans per day. Since scanning is performed by a team of 7 obstetricians and gynecologists, critical decisions are made with minimum loss of time. Started in 1985, with one Hitachi machine, the department has now evolved into a highly modernized unit with five high resolution ultrasound machines including two 4-D Voluson Experts. |
