Dr. Padmaja Y

Dr. Padmaja Yelisetty, MD, MRCOG

Dr. Padmaja is the Medical Director and Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Fernandez Hospital, Bogulkunta. Her training in India and United Kingdom for over two decades in two very different health care systems has enhanced her clinical experience.  This includes managing pregnant women with various fetal anomalies.  She also completed her ATSM Modules in benign vaginal surgery and benign abdominal open and laparoscopic surgery.  She also completed a voluntary stint in Mugu, Nepal as a reproductive care doctor.  Dr. Padmaja is proficient and passionate about teaching and training juniors and hospital staff.  She is very adept in ventouse and forceps deliveries and performs complicated caesarean sections.

Dr. Krupa Patalay

Dr. Krupa A. Patalay, MD

Dr. Krupa is the Head of Obstetric Services at Unit 1 in Bogulkunta, having 18 years experience.  She has vast experience in treating high risk obstetric cases. Her expertise also covers a wide range of gynaec surgeries.  Her special interests are laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. She has also successfully treated infertility cases. Dr. Krupa has a passion for teaching, having trained undergraduates and postgraduates for the past 18 years.

Dr. Surekha

Dr. Surekha A., MD, FRCOG

Dr. Surekha joined Fernandez Hospital as a Consultant in 2013.  Prior to joining she was an Associate Consultant, Obstetrics and Gynaecology at King Abdul Aziz Medical City in Riyadh where she was in charge of the Labour and Delivery Suite, dealing with obstetric emergencies including laparoscopies. 
Dr. Surekha has several papers and poster presentations to her credit.  She is a faculty for our in-house workshops and also at a number of conferences.  She has been actively involved in helping DNB Students with their thesis work and teaching the students and midwives.  She has a special interest in high risk obstetrics and general gynaecology.

Pregnancy is a phase during which you get ready to welcome your little bundle of joy. It is also a time when women undergo physical changes and experience some discomforts. Headache during pregnancy is quite common, especially in the first trimester.
