DR. G. PRAMOD

Dr. Pramod, is a Director at Fernandez Hospital. He has been a member of the medical team since 1994 and currently heads the Neonatal Department. He did his MD in Pediatrics from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. Dr. Pramod visited South Africa in 2004, to study the implementation of Kangaroo Mother Care and introduced it at Fernandez Hospital. In addition to providing training for doctors and nurses in the Neonatal Department, Dr. Pramod is also involved in various clinical trials.

Dr Tejopratap is a Senior Consultant Neonatologist at Stork Home with 9 years’ experience. He has good expertise in dealing with critically ill neonates. He has done his DM in Neonatology from AIIMS, New Delhi. His areas of interest are neonatal hemodynamics, developmental supportive care and ventilation. He is also interested in research and academics.

DR. SUNIL J. PAWAR

DR. SUNIL J. PAWAR

Dr Sunil Pawar is a Consultant Neonatologist and Pediatrician with 8 years’ experience. After his DNB in Pediatrics and DCh (2006-09), he did advanced training in Neonatology, obtaining his FIAP Neonatology Fellowship in 2010. He worked as a Junior Consultant Neonatologist for five years and earned a medal for best overall performance at Wanless Hospital, Miraj. He did an Observership at the best NICU at the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto in 2014.

Dr. Sunil has trained in functional echo, arrhythmias and neurosonogram. Dr Sunil has extensive experience in the care of extreme preterm babies, PPHN, TPN, critically-ill newborns, difficult intubation and various pediatric illnesses. He is a very rationalized user of antibiotics. He has special interest in Neonatal Cardiology, Nutrition and Transport.

Headache during pregnancy is quite common, especially in the first trimester. Though most frequent in the first and third trimester, pregnancy headache may occur at any time during the gestation period.
