About Andrea Anderson (Midwife)

Meet Andrea, for whom midwifery isn’t just a job – it’s a calling. Andrea has worked across every stage of a woman’s journey, from antenatal to postnatal stage, for over 15 years as part of the Homerton NHS Trust in the UK. With a special focus on moms facing mental health and infectious diseases, Andrea is committed to helping such mothers with empathy and compassion, and puts them at the centre of her care.

As a trained practice supervisor and assessor, Andrea has worked towards enhancing the standard of care through assessing, supporting and coaching students. In clinical midwifery practice, her expertise lies in antenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and maternity HDU care, both in hospitals and community settings.
