Dr Amala Musty

Dr Amala is a Consultant Psychiatrist with over a decade of clinical experience in diagnosing and managing a wide spectrum of psychiatric and psychological disorders. She completed her MBBS from Rangaraya Medical College, affiliated to Dr NTR University of Health Sciences, followed by a Diploma in Psychological Medicine (DPM) from Guntur Medical College. She also underwent psychiatry residency training at the Government Hospital, Vijayawada, gaining extensive experience in inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care. 

Her areas of expertise include Major Depressive Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Psychosis, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, and Adult ADHD. She also has a special interest in personality disorders and women’s mental health, including sexual dysfunctions related to psychological factors. 

Dr Amala has pursued advanced training in psychotherapy and psychodynamic approaches. She has attended multiple international and national workshops. She adopts a holistic, individualized approach, integrating medication management with psychotherapy and lifestyle interventions, to help patients achieve lasting mental wellness.
