About Dr Kallur Sailaja Devi

Dr Sailaja joined Fernandez Hospital in 2007 and is a Consultant Obstetrician at Unit 2, Hyderguda since 2011, where she runs the High Risk Pregnancy and Obstetric Medical Disorders Clinic on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Dr Sailaja completed her MBBS and a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DGO) from NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada. She also holds a DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. 

Her academic activities include regular teaching sessions for post-graduates and overseas observers and Professional Midwifery Education and Training (PMET) programme students, planning the academic roster and setting up of obstetric protocols. She serves as Faculty in the Hospital Workshops, such as the Obstetric Emergencies Workshop which are conducted on a regular basis. Dr. Sailaja has won several awards for prepared poster presentations. Her areas of interest are Labour Ward Management; Hypertension Complicating Pregnancy and Diabetes Complicating Pregnancy.
