About Dr Kausar Shaik

Dr Kausar Shaik, a Counselling Psychologist at Fernandez Hospital, Hyderabad, brings 18 years of experience to her practice. With a Bachelor’s in Dental Surgery and a PG Diploma in Psychological Counselling, she is certified in Family Therapy and Marital Counseling. 
Dr Kausar's expertise in cognitive behaviour therapy is complemented by her unique approach to client-centred therapy, which is a testimony to her passion for psychology. The process of childbirth can be significantly challenging, and many women require support as 
they face anxiety or emotional problems. Hence, our specialist team, which includes Dr Kausar, offers expert assessment, care, and advice to help mothers navigate through these trying times. In addition to her clinical work, Dr Kausar has equal experience facilitating and conducting workshops for corporations and educational institutions. During her journey with Fernandez, she has facilitated several training programmes to enhance the well-being of the staff.
