Dr Lakshmi is a Visiting Consultant Endocrinologist at Fernandez with over a decade of experience in the field. She completed her MBBS from Deccan College of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad, followed by an MD in Biochemistry from Gandhi Medical College. She also holds a DM in Endocrinology from Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam.
With a deep-rooted belief in Sir William Osler’s philosophy of treating the patient and not just the disease, Dr Lakshmi has helped countless individuals achieve remission from chronic conditions like diabetes and obesity through a blend of clinical acumen and empathetic care. She has handled numerous complex and life-threatening endocrine emergencies. A firm believer in continuous learning and teaching, she actively mentors DNB students and D.Pharm candidates and is a sought-after consultant for postgraduate competitive exam platforms, including Toppers Academy and Dr. Murali Bharadwaj Classes.Awarded the Presidential Award of Honor for Services to the Endocrine Society of India in 2021, Dr Lakshmi continues to stay at the forefront of endocrine research, clinical innovation, and public health advocacy.
