About Dr Smita Pawar

Dr Smita is a Senior Consultant in Fetal Medicine at Fernandez with over 10 years of experience. She completed her MBBS from Christian Medical College, Punjab, followed by a DNB in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from St. Stephen's Hospital, Delhi, and a Fellowship (FNB) in High-risk Pregnancy and Perinatology.

She is deeply committed to patient care and a holistic approach to health issues. Having successfully worked as a general practitioner in rural mission hospitals in India and as a specialist in Obstetrics and Fetal Medicine in state-of-the-art hospitals in urban cities, Dr Smita is keen towards directing her efforts to improve the health of women and newborns.

Dr Smita has worked at various teaching hospitals and gained significant expertise in managing and coaching junior doctors, midwives, and nursing teams. Her areas of special interest are Fetal Cardiology and Fetal growth disorders.
