Dr Sunitha Kayidhi

Dr Sunitha is a Visiting Consultant Rheumatologist at Fernandez. She completed her MBBS and MD in Internal Medicine from Gandhi Medical College, Secunderabad, followed by a Doctorate in Medicine (DM) in Rheumatology from Nizam’s Institute of Medical Science, Hyderabad. She also completed a postgraduate programme in Cardiology at Johns Hopkins University. 

She is known for her patient-centred approach and is certified in Paediatric Rheumatology from the European Alliance of Associations for Rheumatology (EULAR). Dr Sunitha’s areas of special interest include Pregnancy/Reproductive health in Rheumatic Diseases, Childhood Arthritis, Autoinflammatory Diseases, Primary Immunodeficiencies/Inborn Errors of Immunity, Childhood Lupus, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), Myositis, and Inflammatory Eye Diseases. She is also a member of esteemed organisations like the American College of Rheumatology (ACR), the Indian Rheumatology Association (IRA), and the Indian Society for Primary Immunodeficiencies (ISPID).
