About Dr V Madhavi

Dr Madhavi is a Consultant in Genetics at Fernandez with over 19 years of experience. She holds an MBBS and a Fellowship in Clinical Genetics and Genetic Counselling.

With a strong focus on academic mentorship, she conducts regular teaching sessions for fellows in High-Risk Obstetrics, Fetal Medicine, and DNB Obstetrics & Gynaecology. She is also a faculty member at various continuing medical education (CME) programmes. Her research interests include molecular and metabolic profiling related to congenital disorders. Dr Madhavi has been a key investigator in several funded studies, including projects on congenital hypothyroidism, prenatal diagnosis of fetal heart disease, and the role of the breast milk microbiome in early childhood development.
