Sumrana is a Consultant Nutritionist with a strong focus on women’s health, maternal nutrition, and metabolic wellbeing. She completed her Master’s in Nutrition and Dietetics from Shadan Degree and PG College for Women, Osmania University, after earning her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics, Zoology, and Chemistry from St Ann’s Degree College for Women, also under Osmania University.
Her clinical interests include pregnancy nutrition, gestational diabetes management, PCOS, endometriosis, weight management, paediatric nutrition, and diabetes care. She also specialises in Low FODMAP dietary management and provides personalised nutrition guidance for individuals with digestive disorders and metabolic conditions. Sumrana believes in a practical, patient-centred approach to nutrition, helping individuals adopt sustainable dietary habits that support long-term health.
To further strengthen her expertise, she completed certification as a Monash IBS Educator through Monash University, Australia, equipping her with specialised knowledge in managing irritable bowel syndrome through evidence-based dietary approaches. She has also completed a certification in Maternal and Fertility Nutrition from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (UK), enhancing her ability to support women through preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum nutrition. Through personalised counselling and evidence-based nutrition plans, she works closely with individuals and families to support better health outcomes across different stages of life.
